Release My Hotel Room Block

This article will outline the process of releasing your hotel room block.

To manually release your room block you can follow the steps below. However, your block will also have an expiration timer that displays how much time is left until the block automatically drops. 

Navigating to the Holds/Requests Tab

Log into your EventConnect Account, by going to app.eventconnect.io/login.
On your home page, click the My Holds/Requests tab to view your hotel room block.

Viewing your Room Block

Once you have selected the My Holds/Requests tab, a list of your hotel room blocks will be displayed. Please select View Hold Details to proceed.

To release the room block, select the Release Hold button. 

Once selected, our system will ask if you are sure you would like to release the room block. Select Release Block to confirm your choice.

Once you have confirmed that you would like to release the block, the rooms will return to the general hotel booking page available for other guests or teams to book.
