If you have received a counter-offer from the hotel after submitting a room block request, this article will provide guidance on how to handle the counter-offer.

If your room block request has been counter-offered by the hotel, you will be notified by email and you will need to decide if you would like to Accept or Decline the counter-offer. Please follow the steps below to respond to the counteroffer.
Navigating to the Holds/Requests Tab
Log into your EventConnect Account, by going to app.eventconnect.io/login
On your home page, click the My Holds/Requests tab to view the counteroffer.
Reviewing the Counter-Offer
The counteroffer from the hotel will appear under the "My Holds/Requests" tab. This is where you can review the details of the offer the hotel has provided.
Based on whether the counter-offer works for you and your team, you will then be prompted to either Accept or Decline the hotel's offer.
Accepting the counteroffer will automatically direct you to the booking page to begin the reservation process. You can also copy and share the web link with your team's parents!
